HBT Closed Circuit Cooling Tower

        The main components of a cross flow closed cooling tower include: upper and lower box bodies, panels, spray water devices, cooling coils, packing heat exchange layers, water eliminators, bottom collection tanks, axial flow fans, circulating water pumps, etc. During operation, high-temperature medium water enters the cooling coil from the upper header and is cooled by the cooling water outside the coil before flowing out from the lower part of the cooling coil. The cooling water is sent by the circulating water pump to the spray device above the cooling coil, which is evenly distributed on the outer surface of the cooling coil, forming a very thin water film. Through the induced air of the axial flow fan, the air enters from the top of the coil and the side of the packing (hence referred to as the cross flow type). After the spray water and air absorb heat, the temperature increases, and some of the water changes from liquid to water vapor. The latent heat of evaporation carries away a large amount of heat. The water in the heat exchange layer of the filler is cooled by the air entering from the side, and the temperature drops to enter the collection tank. It is then sent by the circulating water pump to the spray water system for further circulation.
