Counter-flow Evaporative condenser

The main components of a countercurrent evaporative condenser include: upper and lower box bodies, spraying devices, condensing pipes, water purifiers, water collection tanks, axial flow fans, and circulating water pumps. During operation, high-temperature refrigerant enters the condenser tube from the upper header, and the liquid medium condensed by the cooling water outside the tube flows out from the lower header of the condenser tube. The cooling water is sent by the circulating water pump to the spray device above the condenser pipe, evenly distributed on the outer surface of the condenser pipe, forming a very thin water film. After being induced by an axial flow fan, air enters from the side of the lower part of the box (the direction of air flow and spray water is opposite, so it is called a counter flow type). After the spray water and air absorb the heat inside the heat exchange tube, the temperature rises, and some of the water changes from liquid to steam. The latent heat of evaporation carries away the heat, which is sucked away by an axial flow fan and discharged into the atmosphere. The water flowing through the heat exchange tube is cooled by the air entering from the side, and the temperature drops before entering the water collection tank. It is then sent by the circulating water pump to the spray system for further circulation.
